Also managed the (then) new Indicator Assurance Process, designed to support anyone looking to develop national indicators, providing an open and transparent way of assuring methodologies, leading on development and improvement of all areas of the process.Lead the statistical analysis and indicator development work using various health and social care data (hospital data, national surveys, national audits, etc.) and the service transition lifecycle of new indicators into BAU.Provided specialist support to database systems design and development, specialist statistical support using SAS and specialist support of methodology/indicator development on the Indicator Assurance Service. Pioneered the development of statistical models, successfully delivered mortality and readmission indicators for NHS Choices and SHMI, developing the methodology from translating the specifications, requirements and business/clinical rules. Implemented additional services to help users understand the SHMI i.e. VLAD Charts, extract service, training, etc.Project managed independent QA of Statistical Methods project, leading on tender specification, shortlist criteria, evaluation panel, managing the project scope, timeline, resources as well as providing support to the QA processes.
