Project work: - 1D and 3D Geomechanics studies addressing critical risks associated with well-bore stability for exploration and nuclear waste disposal (North America, Ukraine, Switzerland) - Cross-discipline studies to facilitate the integration of basin simulation results (pressure field) into the geomechanics workflow and to understand the benefits, limitations, and operational viability of this non-standard application- Testing new in-house geomechanical prototype tools with R&D teams

Exploration consultancy studies: Building and analyzing 1D, 2D, and 3D basin models and their uncertainties to address a range of project/basin-specific exploration questions (Peru, Paraguay, Gulf of Mexico, North Sea, Offshore NW Africa) Software testing, input to R&D: Link between consulting projects, new features for development of broader applications of basin modeling (pore pressure prediction, sub-salt seismic imaging) Technical Training and Education Services: Developed and provided NeXT training courses to internal and external customers. Working at the AaTC (Aachen Technology Centre) with teams that were instrumental in facilitating the technological breakthroughs in Basin Modeling was a persistent highlight as it facilitated valuable collaboration with developers and physicists - crucial while working with simulation software to tinker with the details behind the hows and whys!
