I was Construction Manager for a number of sub-division developments across Brisbane, including Stockland's Springfield and Springfield Lakes development. Responsibilities included:- planning and co-ordination of works with Construction Manager- direct liaison and meeting with Council Officers - co-ordination of as-built drawings- pricing and seeking approval of contract variations- preparation of monthly claims.

In this role, I was the Superintendent for a number of Sub-Divisional developments across the Sunshine Coast as well as Project Manager for the construction of the Coolum Waters Retirement Village (Coolum, Queensland) and re-development of the Greyhound Racetrack at Maitland, New South Wales. Responsibilities included:- monthly Contractor Claim assessment- direct liaison with the client, contractor and council representatives - site inspections- variation claim assessment - facilitating weekly construction meetings with the Contractor. Works disciplines covered included:- revetment wall construction- bulk earthworks- piling- dredging- pavement design and construction- stormwater and sewerage reticulation- water reticulation- electrical and lighting conduiting / cable pulling- final topsoil / seeding- ensuring all environmental requirements were met and complied with.
