The KITC is a student run IT Consultancy managed by members of the school of Computing staff. We currently work with small/medium sized enterprises in Kent providing guidance projects, advice, support and technical work. It is self sustaining with recruitment for each term/year being managed and run by students. I have worked on projects involving a guidance study for a client wishing to implement their own website and a project rebuilding a website the consultancy had previously made for a client. This has given me skills including project management, client etiquette and most importantly, correct and accurate documentation.
