Oversee all payroll activities for employees, timely and accurately across the company with 2 subsidiaries, including garnishments, relocations, stock options and other special payments. Responsible for ensuring effective internal controls are in place for both the payroll/HRIS functions. Process re-engineering which results in company savings of upward of 1 million dollars.Resolves payroll related issues for all levels of Barclay’s management in a manner that fosters constructive collaboration. Works with all levels of the organization. Ensure the data integrity of information being transmitted between organizations through Peoplesoft and MPay. (HR, Benefits, Compensation and Finance).Manages a team of direct reports for payroll and HRIS.Maintains the employee lifecycle from new hire to termination.Reconcile the multi-state tax reporting and W2 process. Mapping of all earnings and deductions coding to the general ledger.Manages all inbound and outbound assignees, ensuring stock payments and national insurance payments.Create and implement HR and payroll policies, with supporting documented procedures.Project lead for payroll initiatives and various projects within HR, identifying risk, savings and process improvements.Provide data and analysis reports to all Business Partners and high-level management through the use of Excel, Query, Report writer and access databaseProactive reporting and analysis, which ensures successful internal and external audits for workers compensation, employee headcount and employee information changes.Oversees the I-9 process, validating eligibility to work and taxation.Process garnishment deductions and provide payments to the 3rd party.Manages in-house Peoplesoft timecard system, populating annual accruals and extracting time card data.
