Delivery of a range of online digital projects for residential and business retail energy management. This role has delivered the new MyMeridian residential self service portal and enhancements to this service, as well as digital projects in the business space for online customers across a range of business services. Role was there to setup, run and deliver digital online services using Agile SCRUM methodology - projects required skills in product development, design, delivery, deployment and production controls, change and defect management plus skills in networking / telecoms infrastructure. All projects delivered successfully.

Contracted project manager for Gen-I in Christchurch. Delivery of high profile projects NZ customers in spaces such as VOIP, Telecoms, organisational change, ICT infrastructure, business development etc - Largest prroject was to design, build and delivery the ICT infrastructure for Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin and run the Stadium ICT services for Rugby World Cup 2011.

Accountable for delivery of outsourced service desk services to globally migrated operating companies - 50K+ seats across the VF global foot print. Responsible for vendor managment of outsourcer, budget planning (circa 25M€ PA), KPI/SLA and service management, project support and programme management for supporting transition/transformation topics. Responsible for further transtional activities for global service desks. Accountable for the outsourcing, requiring completion of a survey of existing services and support needs, preparation of RFI and RFP documents, running of RFP & nomination of one service provider. Accountable for service scope, SLA & KPI setting across all areas, programme and project management of service desk transition and service commencement, liasion with all relevant stakeholders and other departments. Project was delivered on time and to budget without impact to any services.

Responsible for the local operating company IT transition into global IT. Project & Programme Mgt role to identify, liase with and ensure smooth transitions from local IT department and roles to global. Project areas included technical, people and budgetary subjects. OpCo size around 4.5K staff.

Initially responsible for single site in Duessldorf, Germany around 1900 seats. accountable for local end to end IT Operations for large Windows/AD based service. Accountable for server, network and desktop infrastructure support, deskstop development and service desk support services. In early 2004 this role was extended to include the VF Group Newbury and London offices (circa 5.5K seats) - also including above services for these locations. Group IT was used as a test bed and demonstrater for new VF office IT technologies. A number of large scale migration / change projects were carried out across server & network infrastructure and a large desktop change project completed for the roll out and replacement of older windows legacy environments. additional responsibilities for Change and Release Management, Capacity Planning, DR&BCP Planning and Budgetary planning for entire department.
