Primarily these are tools associated with Java development including IBM Rational Software Architect, Rational ClearCase and Rational ClearQuest.Used my strong analytical skills to obtain the information required to report on the currency status of the Software and Hardware products used.To maintain and manage all Dev Test environments ensuring that they are running on the appropriate Patch Levels for the various technologies including Oracle, Websphere, AIX and MQ, working with the appropriate teams from other areas of the organisation to ensure that patches are deployed within defined time scales.Manage the Offshore Patching Team, comprising of staff supplied by the Bank’s Overseas Partners to ensure that Key Stakeholders are correctly notified when all Patching activities take place and that it causes minimum impact to the Project time scalesIdentify and introduce cost saving benefits through automation and virtualisation utilising modern toolsets.To maintain, image and update the Platform's MacBooks and Apple hardware.Documented all of the process steps and created backups of the required software to ensure that the risk of a single point of failure was removed.Provide support where required to all members of the Platform in the use of IBM Rational Products including ClearCase and ClearQuest and all aspects of SCM.Microsoft SharePoint SCA (SharePoint Collections Administrator).Manage and maintain a number of SharePoint sites. Reference point for other members of the Platform who require assistance when creating and developing SharePoint sites.As the Teams RISK Champion, I introduced a much simpler way of managing and progressing RISKs by creating a dedicated SharePoint site and holding regular workshops and calls. For this I was awarded the Teams 'Star Man’ award for 2014.
