I help organisations identify, understand and manage their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. Holding a background in economics, a Master's degree in International Business, and with management experience across a range of sectors, I bring a strong commercial foundation alongside a deep understanding of ESG risks and opportunities. I have worked in ESG for over a decade, initially helping oil companies manage the environmental footprint of their operations before pivoting to focus on the 'S'. Since then I have worked predominantly in the realm of social impact strategy, social value creation, and impact measurement, whilst also developing expertise in human rights (including modern slavery) and sustainable procurement. My particular interest lies in working with organisations and their key stakeholders to understand complex social issues and then balancing creativity with practicality to ideate, develop, and implement strategies to contribute to positive social outcomes, either through mitigating and managing social risk or enhancing social value.
