As a Business Systems Analyst, I helped the IT department in the firm help deliver a major project, the firm was in the middle of upgrading the old documentation management system to a new cloud-based system. When I joined the team I was tasked with helping track and record major changes and updates for future references and team knowledge as well as testing new updates and implementations of the cloud-based system for bugs and errors. My testing helped ensure that bugs and errors were found and fixed before the updates/new applications were pushed out to the rest of the firm. Some of my smaller tasks in this position were to transfer old files from the old document management system into the new one, update financial information for the department, order equipment, and hardware, and help remove/delete unused files and folders to save space/money.Another part of my role was helping deliver the United Way Campaign Week at the firm, a yearly occurrence at the firm to raise a million dollars for charity and build employee community and spirit. As a major team lead, I helped plan, organize, and run the events for the week, such events were an online auction, a magic show, a garage sale, a family feud event, puzzles and guess the candy jar, and the service of send-a-treat. Overall it was a great experience to help me meet new people within the firm, participate in fun events, and contribute to a greater cause.

As a consultant here at Loblaws I am working as part of the Discount Loyalty team, the aim of the group focuses on the discount division, which includes stores such as NoFrills and Maxi, we work to try to get consumers more engaged with the PC loyalty program either through a card or online through the app. Part of our requirements is to run promotions alongside the flyers to try to get consumers to buy into the program by being able to collect and redeem points as part of their purchases. We also run targeted promotions to customers based on specific criteria such as being loyal or new members,our targeted promotions will provide users of the app with personalized offers that relate to their purchases.Tasks that I have done in this co-op position are:Microsoft Excel data entryData Analysis using Microsoft Excel, and SQL databases to analyze product performance and behaviors and suggest new promotions to target consumers and increase ROI as well as total $ in sales.Innovating and documentation of team processes.Record campaign and project results.

As an AgVenture Attendant (not a typo) I worked in the Farm running activities made specifically for small children, examples are Corn Maze, miniature Farm, a Duck Race, Train Ride, Photo Ops, and Horse Riding.My favorite experiences were seeing the joy on the kid's faces, and their excitement as they went through each activity, as I kid I remember doing the exact same thing, running through the miniature Farm, going for the Train Ride, and telling the Horse to "Giddy Up!". Growing up I went to the CNE multiple times, and always thought that it would be nice to work there. In the Fall of 2022, there were positions opening up and so I found the opportunity to accomplish a dream/goal I always had. In the end my experience at CNE has somewhat come full circle, from being an enjoyer, to helping others enjoy, as well as being able to meet new amazing people, this position is definitely an experience I will remember.Worked in a group setting with mainly young children, involving customer service, patience, and teamwork.Supervised and demonstrated activities, setting up and tearing down stations.Ensured program areas are adequately maintained and presentable at all times.

Working mainly as a store closer for the meat department at Yonge and Yonge 3501, my main tasks included cleaning the backroom, washing equipment, filling the fresh foods section and the promotion bunker, filling the pre-cooked/packaged meats wall, filling the frozen refrigerators and from time to time working the side bunkers (store made products) as well. As a department closer, I helped customers from behind the service case, helping customers with questions about product location throughout the store as well as about meat products, answered customer phone calls and broke down the shipment, and prepared the store for the next day.

For my first paid position I worked as a merchandiser, receiving and organizing shipments and the backroom. I helped stock the walls and bunk beds and helped prepare the store for seasonal attractions for the Fall and Winter. I mainly worked in small groups to complete larger tasks such as organizing and putting away heavy items. Generally, I would also be helping customers locate products around the store, suggesting products, and trying to upsell to customers. My experience here was short-lived as I was a seasonal associate and was working when covid-19 was beginning to force stores to close. As a sales associate I learned how to get out of my shell, really communicate with customers and learn how to handle operations quickly and independently.
