Inspired by an Entrepreneurial Business Course, led by a visiting professor from Harvard, I started an event planning company even before getting my degree from UW in 1992. Since then, and throughout my career, I've excelled at contracting long term agreements with large national and international chains, while still driven by that same passion for entrepreneurship.Today I own and run Soundmarc, Inc., a company which provides consultation, project management and roll-out strategy to large chain retailers, for a variety of web based multi media solutions and their related on site systems.In addition to Soundmarc, Inc., I recently purchased an insurance agency - talk about a "left turn" in my career! But as it turns out, this business is a nice fit considering my background in project management and customer care. These are skills many agency owners fail at miserably, so as we've focused on delivering in these unique ways for our clients, in a timely and informed manner, we have definitely found our niche.
