• As the HR lead for the Site, I provided support to approx 400 direct employees (40% unionised, 60% professional) while leading a team of 3 HR professionals in addition to the Occupational Health function.• Member of the Site Senior Leadership team and part of the HR Leadership Team for Ireland (5 sites in country), providing executive level HR support, and project management for the implementation of HR Strategy in line with business plans and global initiatives. • Partnered with the Site Plant Manager, to provide strategic change management, restructuring and organisational changes, cost containment programmes, leadership development, talent management, succession planning and performance management for their direct reports and key business leaders.• Provided advice and direction to all levels of management on day-to-day HR operations including, HR policy, industrial relations, employee engagement, group and individual case management, absence management, comp and benefits, retention, performance management, training and development.• Mentored and coached all line managers both individually and in groups to build excellent people management capability, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and business performance.• Responsible for the development and implementation of successful industrial relations at the site. Lead negotiator for the site in all Company/Union matters. Maintained positive industrial relations at the site, partnering with key stakeholders, internally and externally to ensure smooth business continuance.
