A multi-disciplinary Civil Engineer with more than 25 years experience, I have been fortunate enough to work on some of the most challenging and varied projects in the South West of England - including The Eden Project, Lundy Island Jetty and Coast Road, The Devonport Royal Dockyard Refit and The Gunnislake Mine Collapses & Drainage Relief Scheme - and beyond.My enthusiasm for computer modelling across all fields - from advanced structural analysis, geotechnics to (in particular) hydraulics - caused me to fall in love with a one-dimensional river model called MIKE 11, which in turn led me to DHI.For more than 10 years, I served as head of MIKE Powered by DHI software for the United Kingdom & Ireland - a sales-focussed, technical and very challenging role (informed by nearly 20 years experience in flood risk management) to develop and maintain client relationships across a broad range of engineering and scientific disciplines related to water.Further building on the knowledge gained above, I am now Product Owner for a range of key marine, inland and cloud-based MIKE Powered by DHI software products, including; MIKE 21/3, MIKE ECO Lab, MIKE FLOOD, MIKE Zero and Mesh Builder (a MIKE Cloud Application).
