Managing both developers and quality assurance engineers. The role includes organising time and priorities of tasks given to the department as well as direct involvement with technical decisions made within the company.Alongside the managerial role, I perform full time development and system administration tasks as well as being available for questions and guidance with regard to coding / testing within the team.Current major work includes fully responsive site built on Bootstrap 3 and CakePHP frameworks. Integration of custom CMS and API allowing the ability for marketing to create their own templates and visually adjust them over different devices. Integration of 3rd party widgets enhancing the clients trading abilities and experience.

Development of the main easy-forex site lead the team to migrate away from a WordPress setup to CakePHP. This enabled faster, more focused development and added to to quality of code when adding unit tests etc.Added to this, we moved to using Puppet configuration management for server setup and maintenance, much of the work and scripts being developed by myself alongside the team leader at the time.

Work included but was not limited to a major migration of the existing company site, including multiple languages and multiple cultures to WordPress. The project involved a number of iterations from multiple WordPress installations to one consolidated CMS. Another high point was reducing the automated deployment from over 30 minutes to around 70 seconds from start to finish.

Coding involved PHP, CakePHP, 960 Grid System, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, MySQL. All work version'd with Subversion and test suite using Selenium started.

Part of the team setting up infrastructure in the head end in Nicosia including installation of primary satellite dishes.
