Lee Szed Kee(SK) is an experience subject-matter-expert in audit, finance and tax who has served in the board for 11 active companies in Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd (PJH) group of companies involved in concession, property development, retail, hotel and chilled water operation under the KLCC /Petronas Group for a duration of 9 years. A qualified chartered accountant after obtaining the Bachelor of Accounting from University of Malaya, SK’s 35 years of experience span across government-linked companies, listed corporate and auditing firm including Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd, Guocoland Bhd and PLUS Bhd. SK has worked closely with many board members, management and stakeholders of esteemed organizations.SK also had an oversight role in the Information Technology dept including contributing towards cybersecurity and digitalisation of PJH group. He was an active contributor in executive working committees including the Tender and Contract Committee, Risk Management Committee, Crisis Response Management and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Committee.SK’s broad and in-depth experiences and success stories in corporate governance included implementation of Limit of Authority and Financial Control framework, and collaboration with Internal and External audit teams to provide oversight and to enhance the assurances in financial management and financial reporting. He also contributed towards tax compliance, tax audit, tax planning and incentives for PJH Group.SK led teams to raise more than RM 10 billion in the Capital Debt Market for the financing of Putrajaya development. He was instrumental in structuring the Islamic financing programme and was successful in obtaining a strong AAA corporate rating for the bonds issuance. SK was also involved in major corporate exercises including listing of companies under Guocoland Bhd, and has completed significant transactions for acquisition/ disposal of companies/assets including the purchase of landbank.SK was in the core negotiation team for the Concession agreement with the Government based on the first Private Finance Initiative of Built Lease Transfer (BLT), which subsequently progressed to Built, Lease, Maintain and Transfer (BLMT). His business negotiation experiences cut across multi-industries joint ventures, and hotel and retail operators agreements.
