Sanjiv Sinha is the CEO & Board Member of CIS, a national leader in urban infrastructure and greening programs. Since 2014, CIS has executed nearly $450 million in water infrastructure programs across the Mid-Atlantic, Great Lakes, and West Coast regions. In April 2023, Dr. Sinha took over CIS, spun off from Corvias Group LLC., to focus on rebranding to enhance CIS's status in water-sector partnerships centered on equity, innovation, and collaboration. In his first year, he led the rebranding of the company, increased staff five-fold, quadrupled the number of clients, and opened new offices in Milwaukee, Seattle, Ann Arbor, and Sacramento. He also helped launch an Advisory/Consulting Practice on climate resilience, disaster prevention, environmental finance, and environmental justice, while expanding social media presence and earning several national awards. CIS's 2024 revenues are on track to nearly double from the previous year.Since 2022, Dr. Sinha has been a member of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Environmental Finance Advisory Board, which advises EPA's Administrator and senior leadership on reducing environmental and public health protection costs and boosting investments.In 2020, Dr. Sinha founded Resilient Infrastructure for Sustainable Communities (RISC), a climate resiliency network for the Great Lakes, and in 2023, transitioned it to a national network platform called Green Infrastructure Leadership Exchange.He serves or has served on the Board of Directors or Advisors for three for-profit companies: CIS, ECT (led Governance Committee), and Augment Ventures.
