Whilst working for Bauer Media I was approached by PR company NE1 after working at one of their events and I was asked to help work and organise events for Newcastle Fashion Week which was a brilliantly fun opportunity. -
Vintage Co-OrdinatorBritish Red Cross Sep 2011 - Jun 2012Whilst at University I volunteered for The British Red Cross and helped them to create a vintage area within my local shop. This brought quite a lot of trade into the shop and I was invited to Manchester to help set up a vintage section in another British Red Cross outlet. I also worked closely with the university and held vintages fairs both in the shop and at my student union to help raise funds to support the Red Cross and also promote ethical fashion. When holding these events I had to use high levels of organisation as I had to promote the events and also work closely with the charity, local businesses and the press to ensure that the evenings where a success.
