I've worked on and am currently working on a variety of financial and risk management projects. These range from valuing potential capital expenditures and creating facility-wide forms and spreadsheets to developing a list of business associates and a revised agreement for these associates that complies with the 2009 amendments to HIPAA regulations.

Working in BestPrep's Classroom Plus program, I am one of four employees responsible for scheduling various business professionals to visit and speak to K-12 classes. Participating teachers from many Minnesota Metro Area schools, as well as other schools throughout greater Minnesota, submit requests of the program for presentations on a variety of different business, financial literacy, and career topics. Gathering information on the desires of the teachers and students, I, along with my colleagues, contact interested business professional volunteers to give these presentations in the classrooms.

At the Resource Assessment office, I worked with a number of different state employees on a variety of projects. Many of these projects revolved around historical aerial photography and historical records held and maintained by the Minnesota DNR. One of the more prominent projects I worked on was called Firewise, where I spent a lot of time entering and maintaining data while working with and managing a group of student employees.
