I have always loved learning. I excelled early in school maintaining all A's and B's for most of my primary school years. When I reached high school I ended up in a school where I was not challenged intellectually and as a result, my grades suffered and I did not go straight to college. I took the long way through various jobs and eventually found myself at UAB.Again I felt the thirst for knowledge and did not want to stop taking classes. I learned how to learn again, a skill that many adults struggle with. I maintained a 3.54 GPA and graduated Cum Laude. Through it all I learned excellent research, writing, and reasoning skills. I found that I again enjoyed learning new skills and adapting quickly to new environments. I found that I could be a problem solver with strong drive for excellence. My wide range of experience from before I went back to school and my time in school helped me become a well rounded individual. I look forward to applying all that I have learned and will learn to my future. Today, I am a teacher to my daughter and we embark on learning adventures every day. Whether it be simple math, spelling, or programming, we have a good time and learn something new every day.
