I have an extensive track record as a finance director in rapidly growing entrepreneurial businesses, notably Tribal Group Plc which I helped grow, with Henry Pitman, over ten years from a start-up to a £250m+ services business.At Tribal I led its AIM float and initial £11m fund raising; a £21m capital fund raising; admission to Main listing; I co-negotiated the sale of Mercury Health for EV for £76m realising profit of £27m. I was integral to the execution of over 45 acquisitions and 6 start-up businesses with incentivised MI share structures. I negotiated and led over 11 debt finance rounds with largest revolver facility being £180m over five years. I built the finance team to over 120 finance professionals (incl. 20 senior FDs/FCs). I left Tribal in May 2010 and became CFO of Cabo Delgado Investments where I worked on a business turnaround, recapitalisation and M&A projects in Africa. Since April 2012 I provide senior board advice to 5 private companies.
