• Key member responsible for complete re-write of VB6 application into web technology. This project required the design and implementation of the full development stack. React for the front end and .NET Core for the back end utilizing RESTful services. This required analysis of the existing system and the ability to re-architect the front-end look and feel to be more modern and effective at solving the user's needs.• Member of team that designed and developed a solution to allow clients to forecast budget based on existing data. This project utilized Scala running in AWS for the backend web services and React for front-end components and screens. Utilizing these technologies the team was able to host Silverlight and traditional ASP.NET applications in a common portal interface. • Developed re-useable Silverlight controls that helped maximize productivity of various teams as well as provide a consistent look and feel across the application.

Anheuser Busch- Worked on a team that developed statistical process charts that plotted various data points and created graphs of numerous and varied data points that tracked multiple variables of the brewing process. Graphs were created on the fly and displayed via the intranet. ASP.NET utilizing visual basic and COM components created the graphs.- Created an internal web page utilizing ASP.NET that allowed the company to keep track of the current nutritional information for each brand.- Created an internal web page that allowed users to track raw materials shipment status via railcar. It would read a third party text file placed on an FTP server and update a SQL Server backend to feed the internal web page.

Charter Communications- Key member of team that designed, coded and implemented a VB6, SQL Server capital budgeting client/server application for the engineering department to replace an Excel tracking spreadsheet.

Consultant (Charter Communications)- Designed, coded and implemented a web based solution utilizing ASP.NET to track cable, fiber optic and other materials used in the field.- Designed, coded and implemented a utility that would take a third party file and upload the contents to a web server and then display the measurements on a web page.Consultant (Abiliti Solutions)- Assisted in the design, coding and implementation of BillingCentral.net. The site allowed customers to view process information for each job as it was processing. Key accomplishments:- Created screens that allowed users to select billing cycle tasks for which they wanted to be notified of status changes.- Developed an Active X component to unzip a specific PDF file on a shared drive. Once the file was unzipped it was displayed in the browser and was deleted upon session termination.- Assisted in the development of a client-server application utilizing MSMQ to track billing cycle information.Consultant (Saint Louis Bread Company)- Modified a commercial purchasing application to transmit product order files daily via FTP.- Created setup executable to be used in over 100 locations.- Responsible for on and off site support of the product.- Modified existing VB6 labor scheduling application to meet new requirements.

MEMC Electronics- Key member of team that designed, coded and implemented VB5 application to track work and material movement throughout the plant.- Served as lead analyst and developer on a DLL component that collected data from various sources that was then used to produce process charts for engineers so they could fine tune the manufacturing process.- Created several DLL's that encapsulated logic to be utilized by multiple executables.- Created a custom control that simulated a status light on GUI alerting the operator to take the appropriate action depending on the level of the alarm. The control would also send characters using the RS232 port to an actual strobe mechanisim.- Created a DLL that provided an interface to operate and monitor a device that etches an identification number on silicon wafers.

- Designed, coded and implemented an inventory receipt management system utilizing Symbol radio frequency hand-held scanners.- Designed, coded and implemented a merchandising price change project utilizing Symbol radio frequency hand-held scanners. This project in addition to the inventory receipt management system realized over 1.3 million dollars annually in labor costs.- Responsible for the design, coding, testing and debugging of programs, systems and UNIX shell scripts according to specifications.- Provided on-call production support for over 110 stores and the internal support center. Responsible for problem identification and communication of problem resolution to the end user.- Developed experience in point of sale design utilizing object oriented technology.
