In June 2016, I started the Scully Avenue Podcast with Vince Samperio. We did a weekly podcast about the Dodgers for nearly three years, at which point we joined the Locked On Podcast Network, changed to a daily format, and renamed the show “Locked On Dodgers.”Over 1,400 episodes between the two shows combined.Interviewed many minor and major leaguers.

In seven months with Dodgers Nation, I wrote over 1,000 articles about current events related to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Topics ranged from basic news reports to game stories to opinion pieces. It was a fun and fulfilling way to use my Dodgers and baseball expertise.

• I joined Baseball Essential as a writer in 2015, quickly earned partial ownership, and eventually bought out the founders.
• Managed a staff of 40-60 writers, almost entirely remotely. Personally edited nearly every article published on the site.
• Spent time in the press box, on the field, and in the locker rooms of several MLB and MiLB teams as a credentialed media member.
• Created a comprehensive style guide and a series of tutorials to aid young writers in honing their craft. Several writers I have mentored have gone on to write for outlets such as FanSided, the Athletic, and others.
• Wrote over 100 feature articles.
• One research project of mine restored Garry Templeton’s 1979 feat as the first player ever to have 100+ hits from each side of the plate in a season.

• As DigiCert’s second employee, I had my hands in most aspects of the business, including programming, customer service, marketing, business development, human resources, and executive management.
• As the leader of the development team (and originally the sole developer), I had two key focuses: o Create truly useful and easy-to-find tools and content for our customers. o Create tools that automate our internal.
• Conceived, architected, and built our Managed PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) system, which allows enterprise customers to seamlessly issue and manage certificates on-demand and in high volume.
• Oversaw the implementation of a robust API that allows customers to integrate certificate management into their existing processes.
• Co-created and implemented our simple customer service strategy: treat every customer like a beloved family member. This approach made DigiCert the top-rated Certificate Authority according to SSL Shopper, a.
• Built a culture of valuing employees and their families as our most important assets.

I did advanced web development setting up and maintaining storefronts for clients.

Worked in technical support and helped manage the BYU Independent Study website.
