Monitoring the environment is mostly automated with scripts and other tools provided by Splunk and IPSwitch What's Up.• Corporate Infrastructure SupportResponsible for providing IT Support to 80+ team members, ranging anywhere from Developers to the CEO. Up until the mid 2016 all systems and services were local running virtual with VMWare or physical boxes in the DC. Throughout 2016 I was fortunate to lead the charge in migrating all in house systems and services to AWS. Making very good use of the AWS core infrastructure like custom VPC, EC2, IAM roles and policies, SGW and RDS just to name a few. Working with AWS and discovering all of the valuable tools is an eye opening experience. Outside of AWS I am still focused on ensuring trouble tickets are addressed and documented properly in a timely fashion. And as technology continues to scale up and out I am sure to pay close attention to Disaster Recovery and how I can improve it.

Responsible for all technical operations for four companies. Golden Gaming Inc. Golden Tavern Group Golden Route Operations Golden Casino GroupSuccessfully led the development and deployment of sports betting kiosks. As my most rewarding accomplishment to date, I was hands-on for the build-out, development, infrastructure and implementation of this project from the ground up. An all-in-one solution to sports betting was created; a kiosk that would allow anyone 21 and older to sign-up for a sports wagering account, fund the account, and place sports bets in an instant. The concept changed the way sports bets are taken in Las Vegas.Designed and implemented network communications to over 200 remote locations in order to access player tracking and slot accounting systems. This MPLS managed solution provided a higher level of availability and speed to our partners, as well as a full menu of services by having the necessary infrastructure in place at minimal cost.Heavily involved in related technical operations of a business acquisition, which included two large casinos and 650 slot route locations. Successfully migrated servers, networks, technical operations, custom applications, and 250 employees.

Responsible for providing support to three Casinos running three separate player tracking and slot accounting systems mission critical to business operations. Environment is very fast-paced with the expectation of providing 24x7x365 uptime excluding maintenance windows.Implemented the Wireless Ticket-In / Ticket-Out (TITO) transaction processing for the Colorado Department of Gaming (CODOG). Created from the ground up, the wireless infrastructure was designed around availability and security. All communications were built around multiple firewall connections and encryption. Because of the successful implementation and testing along with detailed results and documentation, the standards were set for all gaming companies governed by CODOG.Facilitated multiple conversions to VMWare, each with its own set of challenges. With these successful implementations of VM environments, we were able to decrease overall costs of power, cooling and hardware needs, while increasing performance and high availability.
