Soheib Nunhuck is an experienced technologist focused on the digitalization of economies. He is currently a Policy Manager at the GSMA focused on digital public infrastructure (DPI), an approach to transform countries at scale via digital identity, digital payments and data exchange. He is also a Fellow at The Digital Economist where his research lies at the nexus of DPI and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). Soheib is a former GovTech Specialist at the International Monetary Fund, where he has worked extensively likeminded international organizations, central banks, ministries of finance, and key GovTech stakeholders from the public and private sectors. Soheib possesses a MPA in Development, Technology and Innovation Policy from University College London, a BSc (Hons) in Management and Information Technology from Lancaster University, and an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, with specializations in artificial intelligence, digital transformation of governments, and cybersecurity.
