About Sofía Green

With a MSc in Marine Biological Resources and seven years of work experience, I am working towards the sustainable management of our world’s oceans. To achieve this I have trained to have varied skills to work in areas of field research, data analysis, outreach and communication. Personally I consider it of high importance to involve local communities in conservation science for long-term impact and change. Con una maestría en Recursos Biológicos Marinos y siete años de experiencia laboral, estoy trabajando hacia la gestión sostenible de los océanos. Para lograr esto me he capacitado para tener diversas habilidades para trabajar en áreas de investigación de campo, análisis de datos, divulgación y comunicación. Personalmente, considero de gran importancia involucrar a las comunidades locales en la ciencia de la conservación para lograr un impacto y un cambio a largo plazo.
