*Controlling various confined spaces around the plant constantly monitoring who goes in and out, checking working permits and isolation*Ensure that all safety procedures are complied with including completing JHA’s, Take 5’s, Hazard reports, using effective 2 way radio communication*Liaise with all other contractors and supervisors throughout the shifts ensuring work specs are met and completed.*Communicate and safely and effectively monitor confined space workers.Activate visual and audio alarm signals to alert the workers to potential hazards; conduct emergency procedures.*Remain alert and actively ready to prevent possible incident that may arise.*Competent in the assessment of all hazards associated with working within a confined space and appropriate use of risk control measures.*Hot work spotter.
