This involved implementing complex tax calculations to ensure accurate deductions. Some of the key deductions I worked with included: Federal and Provincial Income Taxes, Canada Pension Plan (CPP) Contributions, Quebec Pension Plan (QPP), Employment Insurance (EI) Premiums, Voluntary Deductions, etc...One of the key challenges was to ensure that our system dynamically adjusted these deductions based on any changes in federal and provincial tax laws.
