About Sofía Vargas

As a clinical Master of Social Work student at Boston University, I am training to work with children/youth and adults experiencing complex trauma. I am passionate about education and learning at all stages of life, trauma-focused modalities with children and families, and advancing housing justice. I am also a research assistant working on the community program evaluation of Early Connections / Conexiones Tempranas at Jewish Family & Children's Service. Additionally, I am skilled in social network analysis, qualitative research, skills training, and writing. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Politics with a certificate in International Development and a minor in French from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in 2017.
