Solvicon is an international business development company within energy and the environment. Solvicon has taken part in this transition since 2005 through the development of large onshore wind farms, but as the decentralisation moved down the energy system making consumers to prosumers, Solvicon has also taken part in project development of solar parks, energy storage, smart grid, geothermal heating and cooling. Solvicon was founded in 1998 by opening a webshop for Goyen and Mecair valves and spare parts. This led to numerous contacts within the Swedish industry and soon after Solvicon took turn-key responsibility for the refurbishment of the wastewater treatment plant at Helsingborg Municipality. Hereafter followed a period where Solvicon refurbished wastewater- and baghouse air filtration plants in all of Sweden as part of a growing focus on reducing the consumption of energy in the industry. In 2008 Solvicon took the initiative to develop a greenfield wind turbine project and an SPV named Vindbruk Halland AB was formed together with 15 local investors. As head of development, Solvicon has been leading the development through a geographically dispersed team of specialists who managed all stages from greenfield to building permit. In Late 2016 Vindbruk Halland was taken over by a consortium that is aiming to take this multimillion-dollar project through its final stages.

Solar Power and Energy storrage

Solvicon own and manage 62 hectares of forest in Sweden producing 400 cubic meter of forest raw materials to the timber and pulp industry.

As head of development, and on behalf of 15 shareholders and 60 forest owners, Solvicon have been leading the development team and managed all stages for the approval of the company’s wind farm projects.Through innovative leadership, this project has led to new standards for the Swedish wind power industry.Vindbruk Halland were among the first to erect meteorological wind measuring masts as high as the projected wind turbines. Through cooperation with the Swedish authorities, Norwegian OCAS AS and Danish Dialight BTI A/S, we installed radar and aviation obstruction light systems in one of the companies’ masts.By helicopter flying, we simulated radar controlled aviation light for wind turbines in a close to reality environment and consequently changed the regulations for the Swedish department of transport, enabling projection of the latest technology within large MW wind turbines with a tip height above 150 meter.

Zense Technology A/S in Denmark, is another product of the Danish Technological Institute, manufacturing intelligent home power management systems using power-line transmission.Director of the Swedish subsidiary Zense Technology AB. When the product Zense Home was ready for commercialisation, Solvicon AB invested in the company and managed to obtain financing for a technology transfer to the European Schuko standard.

IPL Skandinavien is a Swedish engineering and construction company providing project management to the oil, gas and nuclear industries. Specialists in fabrication, erection and maintenance of industrial piping and steel constructions.For a period of 5 years Solvicon was responsible for the improvements of the quality, health, safety and environmental systems, as well as the conducting and implementing of internal and external quality and environmental audits in accordance with the ISO 9001, 3834-2 and ISO 14001.

By 2005, the wind power industry had started to grow rapidly and the Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems invited me to help grow their Swedish business. Success came first with a small 10MW project in Håcksta and shortly after Vestas secured a 100MW project in Havsnäs – both through working closely with UK based wind farm developer RES.In 2008 Vestas Northern Europe were re-organized and centralized. The plans for a new office near my home in Sweden was cancelled and I decided to leave Vestas. Shorly after I became head of development at Vindbruk Halland AB though my company Solvicon AB

SCADA systems, instrumentation, process optimisation software and power equipment.Responsible for the Key Account Von Roll AG in Switzerland, constructors of turnkey waste incineration plants.In 2001 FLS Automation A/S closed down all ativities not related to cement and mineral industry.The decision to move to Sweden with my family was taken and the company Solvicon AB was founded.

While working for MAN B&W Diesel I was offered a position as Sales Manager at Danish FLS Industries, but instead I accepted an invitation from Electrolux to develop a water treatment plant for public laundries.A full-scale system was developed and tested at a public laundry in Denmark. Upon project completion, I accepted the position at FLS Automation A/S.

I very much enjoyed almost 6 years of selling Holeby diesel power generating sets to European shipyards, ship owners and independent power producers at emerging markets.

Through importing Jetwash high pressure car washes, I was introduced to the UK Company Valetmatic Ltd - the two companies formed a joint venture Jetwash ApS. Two years later, I accepted the invitation to move to England and work for a new division, selling commercial vehicle washes, where I became General Manager.

For two years I worked as Sales Assistant selling Sperry navigation equipment and Hatlapa deck machinery to the mercantile marine industry.In 1985 Sophus Berendsen Marine A/S was closed and I decided to start my own company within the car wash business in co-operation with Valetmatic Ltd.
