I am originally from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Through observing the recent political and economic crisis in the island, I have been inspired to study and advocate for these same issues. Since then, I have obtained my degrees in Economics and Political Science from Rutgers University. As of September 2021, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to be working at the Assembly Majority Office. As a policy analyst, I get to work with legislators, stakeholders, and researchers on crucial legislation that impacts areas of child care, infant and maternal health, higher education, economic development and equity, and much more. My favorite part about this role is the ability to collaborate with the many passionate individuals who aim to create a stronger and more equitable New Jersey.
