·Performs technical data processing, data entry, and data extraction, of information from an automated HR information system, which stores employment history of D.C. government. ·Examines proposed action including appointments, promotions, pay changes, reassignments, transfers and separations and other proposed actions; determines accuracy and completeness of materials; and secures additional data and other information or makes correction as appropriate. ·Researches, develops, synthesizes and evaluates a variety of personnel data to process and coordinate numerous personnel actions.·Inputs and monitors personnel actions in the HRIS system, ensures the actions are processed in a timely manner and keeps the supervisor abreast concerning the status of actions. ·Process personnel actions in PeopleSoft for agencies & maintain Official Personnel Folders (OPFs).·Assist with bi-monthly New Employee Orientation by checking in 75-100 new DC government employees, ensuring background checks have been completed, assisting with submitting remaining background checks, as well as reviewing and verifying employment documents.·Ensure personnel action requests contain all necessary information, request prior service records, and verify work history.

• Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees• Sell the value of Homestead Village to all inquiries (via telephone and in person) and strives to convert them into reservations and occupied rooms.• Responsible for conducting courtesy calls within 20 minutes after guest check-in.• Probes to uncover as much information from guests as possible to assist in the gathering of potential sales leads, as well as understanding/defining market segmentation and company information.• Processes guest reservations, registrations, payments, and departures.
