Brought in to work on a business project with the Global Solutions and Services Legal team at Lenovo to help document and standardise customer contract templates and processes following a period of rapid transformation across the company. Helped manage the rollout of a new modular software and services sales contract including:- Representing the legal team on a global business transformation project to identify impacted teams, workflows, and touchpoints, communicate and manage the change process- Drafting 'How To' guides, Q&A materials and process diagrams and workflows for global sales teams- Working with an external agency to create infographs for sales teams and customers- Designing, creating and launching an intranet site to house sales training and explainer content for the global legal and contract teams, including information on what they do, when and how to involve them, and how to implement the new modular sales contract.Also fed into standard template policy and governance, current awareness and training, drafting automation initiatives, a legal AI pilot and reviewing contract management systems.

Member of the Global Practical Law Editorial Senior Leadership team responsible for the overall management, business plan execution and strategic direction of the global legal know how editorial functions (c.600 employees).- Managed editorial team leaders and cross-editorial working groups ensuring that they pursued growth strategies, identified priorities, balanced resources, worked collaboratively, and delivered results efficiently.- Provided thought leadership around legal know how to ensure that the Practical Law content offerings and features reflected customer needs, solved customer pain points and aligned with market trends.- Worked with Product Management partners to sponsor growth projects and articulate requirements for business cases and initiatives that included editorial deliverables.- Chaired the Women@TR UK employee resource group, worked in partnership with other employee resource groups (ERGs) and set up a global Women@TR steering committee which worked together with other regions to coordinate a global programme of events. Organised global speaker events on menopause issues and coordinated drafting of follow up employee toolkit. Over 300 women attended these panels and we followed these up with small group sessions on different menopause experiences.Worked with ERG Executive Sponsors and the UK D&I Steering committee to build relationships with external organisations to attract diverse talent and to embed unconscious bias training and time for reflection.

Member of UK Practical Law Editorial Senior Leadership team. I managed 4 editorial teams producing 4 international legal know how products. Worked closely with colleagues in Client Proposition, Product, and Sales to ensure that the Products I was responsible for met the needs of our clients. Regularly provided input for initiatives involving other jurisdiction-specific PL products in e.g. Hong Kong and MENA, Russia and India. I advised on ways to leverage and localise our existing content, travelled to research markets and meet stakeholders.

I developed and implemented business, product and content plans for a new online legal know how product for the Chinese legal market. I set up a diverse team split between London, Hong Kong and the US, working closely with TR business units in different jurisdictions and Chinese and international law firm partners. I regularly visited Asia to meet with stakeholders, attend conferences and participate in thought leadership activities.

I developed and implemented business, product and content plans for a new online legal know how product for the UK public sector. I managed a team of editors, liaising with other functions to ensure the product met the needs of subscribers and reflected the latest legal and market practice. I monitored competitor products and gave presentations to key customers and at thought leadership events. I managed two major government procurement processes and set up secretariat services for a network of procurement lawyers.

I joined to set up a new online employment law know how service. I wrote, edited, maintained and commissioned content, worked with the sales and marketing teams and gave demonstrations to subscribers. I set up secretariat services for a network of in-house employment lawyers from FTSE 100 companies.I set up and chaired Practical Law’s CSR committee and developed its first CSR strategy, including managing a Legal Scholarship programme for students in Southwark and a reading partnership with a local school.

2005-2007: I was a Visiting Research Fellow carrying out policy work on economic, social and workplace inequalities. Represented Fawcett at stakeholder meetings with Government representatives, wrote Fawcett responses to Government consultations, organised working parties of legal experts and co-authored a report on reform of gender equality legislation, Gender Equality in the 21st Century: modernising the legislation (2006).2008-2009: Member of the Steering Group, Fawcett Society's Sexism in the City Campaign.

- I represented and advised charities, individuals and businesses on employment law including unfair dismissal, discrimination, stress, sickness absence, recruitment, redundancies, restructurings, disciplinary and grievance investigations, employment status, contracts. I regularly conducted Hearings in the Employment Tribunal. - I wrote and delivered employment law training to clients, spoke at conferences and wrote for business and legal publications on employment law issues.

- I qualified into the Litigation department following training seats in the Intellectual Property, Litigation, Financial Services, Employment, Pensions & Benefits, and Corporate departments and a 6-month secondment to the in-house legal department of Reuters news agency.- I managed Freshfields’ relationship with Tower Hamlets Law Centre, organising volunteer attendance at a weekly legal advice session, and volunteered as an advisor at the Royal Courts of Justice CAB. I represented the firm at the London Young Lawyers’ association and the Junior Lawyers´ Division. I was invited to be part of the firm’s first Corporate Social Responsibility committee which developed a CSR policy and organised community partnerships.
