Largest student organization in the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science. Organize various events and activities dedicated to improving the student experience within the Allen School.

Work with other coaches to create lesson plans, devise exercises and drills based on the students’ skill levels, demonstrate and explain different shots/grips, correct student mistakes, teach sportsmanship and rules of the game

Organize weekly meetings, lead brainstorming sessions for new articles and features, monitor newspaper progress and enforce deadlines, coordinate communication between subteams and club advisor

Lead outreach team in spreading STEM awareness to 1200+ people by coordinating various community events and initiatives; planned, advertised, and hosted a series of STEM webinars on different topics; organized and held robotics workshop at Redmond Library w/ full attendance

Coach 40+ students throughout 2 years in programming & building robots, teach engineering skills, train new mentors, coordinate meetings

Programmed racecar using Python to navigate complex courses autonomously by implementing line following, wall following, and PID control; collaborated with 3 team members for final Grand Prix race; used color sensors, lidar, and depth sensors to program racecar to successfully navigate through the course; merged the team’s code into one program

Led interactive labs that reinforced key concepts and syntax; identified gaps in learning and addressed them in the next class; clarified common misconceptions by providing examples and guidance
