I study the atmospheric and climate dynamics of planets with solid surfaces, including Mars, Titan, and exoplanets. My research involves the development of atmospheric models that are used to expand our understanding of the physical processes that create the atmospheres and surfaces of terrestrial planets. Additionally, I am involved in instrument development, focusing on optical instruments that will provide new observations of planetary atmospheres.

I am investigating the dynamics of methane rain on Titan, a moon of Saturn.

I am coupling a climate model to a groundwater model to investigate possible hydrological systems on ancient Mars.

I studied the paleoclimate dynamics of Mars with an emphasis on understanding climate stability, precipitation, and heat transport on ancient Mars. I particularly focused on the dynamics of atmospheric collapse, a climate phenomena in which the bulk atmosphere of Mars can condense onto the surface in a very short time. Such a phenomena likely occurred multiple times in Mars' history, therefore understanding the dynamics of this phenomena provides insight into part of the evolution of the Martian atmosphere.

I was a system engineer for various projects, including the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO), part of the science team for the Deep Impact project, and led the engineering development of a spectrometer for Mars.

I worked in the Orbital Debris program office, with a focus on orbital debris model development.
