I've found my happy place in the space between creative storytelling and strategic communications. The road to this point was windy, but looking back, it's easy to connect the dots about how I got here.Our experiences mold our expertise. I planned to be a Hollywood screenwriter out of college—I even wrote a few scripts that are collecting dust somewhere. But I also knew, based on my volunteer experiences, that I would love working in schools. Joining Teach For America and moving to Nashville began my decade-long journey in the educational sector. I've taught everything from English and History to Algebra, Biology, and Special Education. This experience gave me my best skills:1. Researching problems and gathering data for deeper understanding2. Building a meticulous "backward plan" from the big goal 3. Combining creativity and analytical thinking to plot the ideal path forwardMy experience as a teacher gave me the confidence to dive head-first into new subjects and industries and push myself to understand them at a granular level. I don't have a PhD in robotics or AI. I'm not an engineer or a software developer. However, I've successfully orchestrated content campaigns for sectors as varied as MedTech, RF engineering, and manufacturing automation. My approach? Merging with teams, downloading their expertise, and translating complex information into emotionally and intellectually resonant stories.When I'm not working, you'll find me mentoring the next generation of youth lacrosse players and penning my next (potential) best-seller. With over 100 short stories and three novels awaiting their spotlight, my literary aspirations are alive and ever-burning.In a nutshell? I'm your bridge between the complex and the comprehensible.
