I had returned to De Anza College in 2017 as a student pursuing an advanced certificate in Accounting and take on more roles and possibly become a CPA, when more than 3/4 of the way into the program I accidentally discovered my passion: Ceramics. Initially taken as a fun side class, Ceramics has become a central part of my daily life. I have shown in a Juried Exhibitions, attended local, state, and national ceramics conventions. I was an active studio member of Higher Fire, competed all classes at De Anza College and now use Cabrillo College's ceramic and computer aided design shop as my primary workspace. I am a Sculptural Handbuilder with an emphasis on surface decoration who works primarily in high fire clay bodies. Due to my previous work with CRMs I was the Master Admin for our member management and outreach on the Wild Apricot platform from 2017-2020. I held the position of Vice Chair on the Board of Directors early 2018, and interim Chairperson during the COVID-19 epidemic. Recent Tech Experience: SalesForce Database Contractor, associated with SalesForce database management and data mining. I was previously based in Healthcare Quoting and Network Security Sales, and I would like to continue growing my work experience in an environment where I am able to learn and take on an active, hands on role within the company to help others improve their lives while enriching my own.Specialties: Communication skills, customer service, data collection, data entry, human resources, instruction, interpretation, leadership, persuasion, safety, sales, 3D printing, Computer aided design.
