· Led Microsoft's strategy for developing business partnerships with offshore system integrators in India, and managed a virtual team, across Microsoft and the partner organization, focused on increasing joint field engagement in US and European markets. · Represented the company’s enterprise partner mandate within the India Leadership Team, ensuring that the corporate offshore partner strategy was proactively driving Microsoft’s India strategy.· Drove a collaborative process between the enterprise marketing team, corporate development team, and Microsoft China subsidiary leadership to forge business alliances with key Chinese system integrators.

· Worked with the Chairman, Microsoft India and his leadership team to develop a long-term vision for India, addressing core business opportunities in the consumer and business segments, strategies to unlock partner and developer potential, and a roadmap to make Microsoft “relevant” to 1B Indians.· Developed the framework for an integrated approach to shared operational services across multiple business entities in the country, defining roles and responsibilities between the corporate CFO office, US based business units, and Microsoft India business leadership.· Created the India Leadership Team (ILT), a forum comprising the leaders of local Microsoft business units and shared services organizations (HR, Finance, Legal and Facilities). The ILT acted as a governing council for the company’s interests in India.

· Led Microsoft’s Investor Relations program from Jul 01 to Sep 03 and recognized in 2003 as the Grand Prix Best IR Team among mega-cap firms (ahead of GE, Cisco and Intel).· Defined and implemented the company’s communication framework with retail shareholders, investors, and sell-side financial analysts, articulating ongoing results and long term financial and strategic goals within the framework of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. · Managed key investor deliverables for the company, including the publication of Microsoft’s annual report, organizing the shareholder meeting, and hosting the annual financial analyst summit with company senior leadership.· Advised the Chairman, CEO, CFO and senior leadership on financial disclosure policy, and managed their public speaking engagements with the financial community.· Drove the quarterly earnings process for the company, assisted the CFO and Corporate Controller in preparing for the quarterly analyst call, and participated in the call.· Participated in a cross-company strategic task force that implemented the company’s transition in equity-based compensation, from employee stock options to restricted stock.· Represented Microsoft as a keynote speaker at investor and analyst conferences in the US, Japan, UK, Germany and Switzerland.· Member of Microsoft’s Finance Leadership Team (FLT) reporting to the CFO, and a frequent speaker at internal management and leadership training programs, driving an increased awareness of IR, financial disclosure policy, and the overall role of Finance in the company’s business strategy.
