- Managed over 45 personnel including hiring/firing, training, and development.- Monitored financials,expectation for customer experience, and overall standards for locations.- Assisted in the expansion of the new division – including opening two stores and assisting with five other openings.- Acted as a small business owner for up to three locations in the greater Richmond area.I acted as a "Small business owner." I was in charge of overseeing operations for up to three Aldi grocery store locations. This includes reviewing reports, problem solving, walking the sales floor, coaching and working directly with the store manager and he/she staffs, hiring and firing personal, along with other tasks.

I enjoyed working at a local restaurant and being able to help shape such a great brand grow. Bartending gave me an opportunity to work with my hands and create, along with learn how to interact with individuals from different backgrounds.

- Participated in the 8-week Wheel program, working in different departments each week.- Filed paperwork, attended client meetings, and updated listings in Excel.I spent the summer of 2014 in CBRE Richmond's Intern Wheel Program. During the eight weeks, I worked in project management, property management, maintenance and brokerage. I participated in multiple meetings and conference calls, attend corporate training programs, filled spreadsheets and made cold calls.

Great summer job. I filled out rental forms for customers, handling cash and some bookkeeping at the end of the weekend, along with general cleaning/maintenance. Maintenance included repairing boats, motors, batteries, and varies odds and ends. I also assisted in the preparation, operation, and breakdown of holiday parties, and dealing with customer service and managing varies situations that would occur.

- Helped customers, restocked products, and processed requests. Handled daily store operations.- Counted and handled money, recorded numbers, trained over 8 employees, opened and closed store. This job was my first, and a very beneficial starting point. I learned a lot about how to handle situations, interact with different backgrounds, created important management skills, and my first experience with sales. This job is the reason I wanted to go to business school at VCU.
