During the eight weeks, I worked in project management, property management, maintenance and brokerage. Great summer job. I filled out rental forms for customers, handling cash and some bookkeeping at the end of the weekend, along with general cleaning/maintenance. Maintenance included repairing boats, motors, batteries, and varies odds and ends. I also assisted in the preparation, operation, and breakdown of holiday parties, and dealing with customer service and managing varies situations that would occur.

- Helped customers, restocked products, and processed requests. Handled daily store operations.- Counted and handled money, recorded numbers, trained over 8 employees, opened and closed store. This job was my first, and a very beneficial starting point. I learned a lot about how to handle situations, interact with different backgrounds, created important management skills, and my first experience with sales. This job is the reason I wanted to go to business school at VCU.
