I have faced many adversities in my life. I was born with autism and bullied throughout school. I overcame the challenges these issues presented by learning to do the hard work it took to succeed. Through my time on campus at Saint Francis University and my online education through Francis Worldwide, I have learned to manage my time well and prioritize my workload. Through these efforts, I made sure all assignments were completed accurately and in a timely manner. This is evident by my numerous Dean’s List and President’s List recognitions. While working as a library assistant, I gained organizational and systematization skills by collecting, sorting and placing books according to the Dewey Decimal Classification. In my work as a personal care aide, I have developed my communication skills and empathy towards others. As an accounting intern, I am gaining experience in journal entries, reconciliations, month end closing, and payroll. I am looking forward to establishing myself in a new career that utilizes my educational achievements and helps me build on the other skills I have developed through my previous and current employment.
