Stacey Evans Email and Phone Number
My name is Stacey Evans, and my journey in education and advocacy has been shaped by a deep-rooted passion for education and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.Growing up in Tomball, Texas, I always felt a calling towards education. After graduating from Tomball High School, I eagerly pursued higher education at Texas A&M University. There, I found myself drawn to two seemingly different areas of study: Kinesiology and English. It was during my time at Texas A&M that I realized the profound impact education could have on individuals' lives and communities. After earning my Bachelor of Science degree, I began my path in the field of education, eager to share my passion for learning with others. For six fulfilling years, I taught Language Arts and coached in the Conroe Independent School District. In the classroom, I found joy in fostering a love for literature and language while also guiding my students through their personal and academic growth. On the sports field, I had the privilege of instilling values of teamwork, resilience, and determination in my athletes. With three children who are dyslexic, I gained firsthand insight into the challenges faced by students with dyslexia. This personal journey deepened my understanding and inspired me to take action. Witnessing their struggles ignited a passion within me to make a difference. In 2014, I founded "A Brighter Education for Dyslexia," a non-profit organization committed to raising awareness, offering resources, and providing support to individuals with dyslexia in their educational journey. Through our collective efforts, we have empowered countless families by educating, empowering and instilling hope to families in their student's educational journey. My commitment to dyslexia advocacy is deeply personal. Their journey has only strengthened my resolve to create a brighter future for all learners, regardless of their challenges. As I continue on this journey, I am committed to championing the rights of all learners and ensuring that every individual has access to the support and resources they need to thrive.
