As Director of Risk Management and the original member of Southern Land’s legal department, I was involved in all facets of luxury multifamily development projects in Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Colorado, Nevada, Pennsylvania and New York, from start to finish, including purchase agreements, due diligence (title, survey, existing conditions, environmental and entitlements), land acquisitions, AIA agreements, construction loans ranging from $35M to $300M, commercial construction, commercial leases, property management, dispositions, and risk management and insurance (corporate, builder’s risk and property).
