As Lead Commercial Advisor for the Whai Kainga Whai Oranga team within Te Kahui Maori Housing, I use a financial and commercial lens to maximise the achievement of housing aspirations of iwi/ropu Maori within given funding constraints.

Te Arawa Group Holdings Limited (“TAGH”) was established as the commercial arm of Te Pumautanga o Te Arawa Trust (“TPT”).TAGH is investing in future generations through geothermal, forestry, agribusiness, property and tourism.

Main responsibilities include providing commercial/financial advice to government agencies, and negotiating on behalf of the State throughout procurement on complex infrastructure and contestability projects.The ISFU is a highly effective interface between Government and the private sector, recognised for transparent and interactive market engagement with an appropriate commitment to probity, process and confidentiality. We add significant value through regular, direct reporting to Cabinet and Ministers on infrastructure procurement milestones, key risks and structuring issues. ISFU is considered by many to be a "centre of excellence" in PPP procurement and is regularly sought after to share their knowledge with government delegations from around the world.

Main responsibilities including financial modelling, credit analysis and documentation negotiation for new and existing clients. Responsible for the management of a portfolio of client relationships.Notable deals include:- Worked with one of Australia's leading renewable energy generators to establish project finance for a 147 MW wind energy portfolio (includes both operating and development-stage wind farms). - Restructure, extension and ultimate repayment of facilities for a large underground mining contractor. This deal was a complex restructure and Lloyds played an integral part in the management of the syndicate.
