I've worked in the IT field for 30+ years and I really enjoy the constant evolution of this field. I received my Associates in Applied Science at Westwood College in June 2011 and would like to pursue my Bachelor's at some point. Unfortunately DavCo was sold on May 31, 2017 and I finished my responsibilities with them on October 29, 2017. I began a new career at A&A Global Industries as the IT Director on October 30, 2017 but was offered a bigger opportunity at Chesapeake Hospitality in March of 2018 so I began my new career at Chesapeake on March 26, 2018. After 4 years at Chesapeake, it was acquired by Remington Hospitality and I began my job search again. Fortunately a referral landed me at MCB Real Estate as the IT Director and I'm excited to learn a new industry and create an IT Department.I started my IT career while working at TransAmerica Tax Service. I was only a clerk but I was able to quickly pickup Lotus 123 so they asked me to run their new mainframe AS400. In a short period of time, I was creating databases, running queries, and creating reports on the AS400. In 1992, I began my career at DavCo Restaurants as an AS400 System Operator and I spent 25 years working my way up the Corporate IT ladder. I was promoted to Senior Vice President, IT in 2016 which felt amazing and I'm anxious to continue my career journey in the field of IT. I'm currently focusing on my newest opportunity here at MCB Real Estate. Specialties: Problem solving, critical thinking, process documentation, system integration, team leadership, customer service, subordinate development, training, PCI Compliance, POS systems, project management, and multiple task management.
