Cerner PharmNet and CareAdminI was the pharmacy team lead that worked with Cerner and Allied’s Pharmacists to create and maintain the Pharmacy System. Executed the test scripts with a team for our Health Information Departments.

Upgraded our IRF-PAI System from an in house system/client version to an online version. For this project I worked with the clinical staff to develop a go live plan that best fit their needs. I also created test scripts and training material. I trained all appropriate staff before go live. Created, maintain, and revised the policy and procedures for the IT department. I created one of the biggest policies the IT department has had to undertake, Change Management. This policy was introduced company wipe. Worked on our helpdesk line to assist end users with any issues they may be having. These issues were mostly hardware or software issues that we would be able to fix remotely. If they were unable to be fixed a ticket would be placed to the appropriate IT staff to get the issue resolved.

During my internship I helped gather data that would contribute to the workflow for auditing referrals into our health care facility. The data was then used to create an Access database that the clinicians and clerical personal would use, I helped with the creation of this database. I also helped with everyday operation task and helpdesk issues that include but are not limited to PC troubleshooting, PC Repairs, Access Database troubleshooting, Software installs, System go live support, User training, and system backup monitoring.
