CurrentIt is a joy to provide campus wide leadership and transformation on the University's diversity initiatives. I collaborate with enthusiastic and committed faculty, staff and students to envision and manifest an inclusive campus community where all members are seen, embraced and celebrated. My engagement includes creating and facilitating diversity training for the campus, consulting with faculty on curriculum design and admissions processes, sponsoring campus wide diversity programming, and facilitating small group dialogues with colleagues.

I managed all aspects of the career development office, including facilitating career workshops for classes, 1:1 career advice, resume, cover letter, and graduate school essay reviews. I proposed and received approval for a large scale job placement software program that provided students with greater access to internships, networking and full time career opportunities. I also taught a course entitled "Life Skills" to assist juniors and seniors in transitioning to life after college. As an Integrative Coach, I supported and mentored students in navigating their college journey.

Director For Academic Support
Created and directed the Academic Support component of the newly created Student Success Center. I utilized visionary leadership and strategic planning to build an immensely successful and highly rated Academic Support program that included study strategies workshops for students, faculty support programs including classroom presentations and "Don't Cancel That Class", presentation on college student development and its impact academic success, and a variety of programs that supported academic success. The achievement I am most proud of, besides my 1:1 academic coaching with students, is the creation of the Tiger Learning Commons, a centralized hub in the University Library, housing the Writing Center, Student Accessibility Services, the Accommodated Testing Center and a common area for student study. This 5000 square foot space provided easily accessible academic support resources for both students and faculty. Over 20% of the student body utilized its services during the first semester.

Work with adults in select allied health and other occupational and technical training programs to develop individual career and education plans, assist with college admission, financial aid and needed to support to coach individuals through human services agencies and community based organizations. Managed all aspects of $1.2 million Department of Education grant serving at-risk, low income students. The grants purpose was to prepare underrepresented high school students for college success and support and encourage their graduation from high school through educational, social, and cultural programs. I taught courses, developed and facilitated a parent program, supervised professional staff and managed the budget. Helping first generation students achieve their academic goals was a very rewarding experience.
