NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars (NCAS) Coordinator duties:- Coordination and implementation of NCAS events at NASA centers throughout the United States- Works closely with NCAS team members to create and execute virtual NCAS competitions, events, and activities with community college students- Works closely with NASA personnel, Subject Matter Experts, and Activity Managers across the Agency- Networking and building relationships with faculty throughout the United States to recruit community colleges students- Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting

Stennis Space Center

Professional providing administrative support to the Office of Education at NASA Stennis Space Center. My position supports executive staff with office management responsibilities including meeting coordination, personnel records, payroll, Federal travel and expense management.Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review outgoing materials and correspondence for internal consistency and conformance with approved procedures; assure that proper clearances have been obtained when needed. Coordinate special events.Cultivate cooperative working relationships with various staff throughout Stennis Space Center in order to ensure that the various requests and needs of the Office of Education are met in a timely manner. screening telephone calls, visitors, and incoming correspondence; personally respond to requests for information concerning office procedures; determine which requests should be handled by the supervisor, appropriate staff member or other offices, prepare and sign routine non-technical correspondence in own or supervisors nameMake arrangements for conferences and meetings and assemble established background materials as directed. Facilitate the movement of members of the Education team between offices and manage the on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, including key and asset management.Assist in the development of organizational formats for the department share drive, Weekly Activity Report, and team reporting practices. Required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials.
