I was part of the transport team in Bristol, as well as being a capable addition to the Highways team when needed. I complete a range of transport services, such as Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Traffic Modelling etc.

As an integral part of the Development team, I have provided inputs to the production of numerous Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans for various land uses. I utilise GIS, CAD, TRICS, TRACC, Junctions 8, Linsig and other programs on a daily basis. I also have experience of working on Environmental Impact Assessments, in particular the provision of traffic flows for Noise and Air Quality Assessments. In addition, I have provided inputs to development master plans based on detailed swept path analysis. I have experience of junction design, utilising guidance contained within the DMRB.

Working with robotic EDM and dumpy levels, the list of projects I worked on include a river defence scheme in Bexley, a greenfield access road construction, a brownfield Ambulance station car park, the widening of a road to allow for a filter lane and a brownfield car park in London.I greatly enhanced my experience in CAD, and the instruments I was working with. I completed my street works qualification, and in my last role of the job, I was instructing another engineer in how to use the equipment in how to set out.

Dymchurch, Kent

Working with EDMs and Dumpy levels, I worked on a £32M coastal defence project in Kent, as part of a three Engineer team.I have experience laying precast concrete units, as well as fresh concrete pours. This job introduced me to CAD, as well as the majority of setting out equipment. I was heavily involved in the paperwork of the job, as well as an active role in multiple public consultations.
