I enjoy helping others find and rise to their best, and to inspire others to succeed through themselves and others by focusing on compassion, understanding, and high expectations. I have been fortunate to have an amazing career as an Elementary educator, a Human Resources Business Partner, and as a Restaurant Operator. In each role I was able to help others succeed through the collaboration of being a lifelong teacher and a lifelong learner. I have been at my best when put in situations that require problem solving, bringing opposing viewpoints to see each others’ perspectives, and creating new and innovative ideas and strategies.I have many passions in life, most important to me is my family. I love coffee and hot sauce. Typically not together, but throw some cayenne in that coffee once in a while and you won’t be disappointed! I have a passion for running, cycling, and curling and ice bathing (embrace Minnesota winter!). Tabletop gaming and reading are other ways in which I spend my free time. Music and the Arts inspire me daily, and I love to play, sing, act, draw, write or create whenever inspiration strikes. I think everyone should be meditating and would be happy to talk to you about the many benefits found in that practice! For each hobby I have tried or take on, there are likely 3 more I am about to dabble in!I am hoping to support an organization that I can be a creative partner with. I hope to find a role that will allow me to leverage my skills and talents, and allow me to continue to learn, grow and adapt. I also look to be in a role that will allow me to teach and assist in the growth of those around me.
