With a solid foundation as a trained ship mechanic on container vessels navigating the world's oceans, I honed my skills in everything from engine maintenance to knot-tying (and untying) in record time. I also had the unique experience of being part of a complete overhaul of a hopper dredger, as ship mechanic and later as engineer. I also served as a Technical Superintendent and oversee construction for anchor-handling tugs, ensuring they stay shipshape and ready to tackle the toughest jobs at sea.
