I lead EPA's Measurement Technology Group for the Office of Air and Radiation. We develop, maintain, and support Stationary Source Test Methods for EPA's Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards.More than 100 test methods are maintained by our group covering a full suite of industrial emissions quantification needs across all industry sectors regulated by the Clean Air Act. These test methods are the core of EPA's source measurement program. We support all of EPA's NSPS, NESHAP, ICR and SIP program air measurement policy and implementation needs. We also review and approve Alternate Test Methods, as necessary, to aid in appropriate implementation of policy and rule-making efforts in support of EPA's Public Health mission. MTG's staff of Technical Experts handle all manner of point source emissions measurement concerns in the US and are go-to problem solvers with respect to compliance test implementation across the US.
