Launch, manage, and assess program pilots with the goal of increasing college persistence for special populations, such as community college goers and alumni who are food and housing insecure. Build and sustain innovative partnerships to raze identified persistence barriers and to surface hidden ones. Develop scalable strategies for alumni success to advance the network’s strategic vision for social change and to promote its growth as a model provider.

Designed and implemented the network’s first Postsecondary Success Program, while revamping and systematizing its longstanding Bridge to College program. Interfaced with stakeholders at 19 high schools and communicated regularly with thousands of alumni to solidify a network identity, to generate “buy in,” and to backwards map vis a vis alumni experiences as articulated through their texts and survey responses. Identified success metrics for postsecondary programming and in collaboration with the Data & Operations team, designed Tableau dashboard for program performance analysis.

Co-launched Alumni Revolution, a non-profit established by the DPPS founder to support alumni and to address the changing landscape of higher education. Worked with founder and with DPPS stakeholders to prioritize scalable solutions to the increasing college-completion gap. Carried out strategic vision through multiple transitions and iterations.

We founded Avery, a non-profit, so that new and emerging fiction writers could find readers and so that readers could find them. Avery Anthology was a bi-annual fiction journal with at least a dozen stories per issue -- all brand spanking new and all animating and moving.

- Provided academic, financial, career, transfer, and personal advising to first-generation students from low-income backgrounds. Maintained contact with them, tracked their progress, kept detailed advising records, and maintained contact with instructors in order to monitor progress- Provided individual writing tutoring to students. Planned and facilitated workshops.- Screened potential TRiO students.
